Nelly McEnroe-Marinas is one of the nation’s rising stars in collegiate softball, known for her power at the plate, consistency in the lineup, and poise beyond her years. As a redshirt freshman, she made an immediate impact at the SEC level, starting all 61 games and finishing the 2025 season with a .339 batting average and 15 home runs. McEnroe-Marinas tied for the SEC lead in conference home runs as a freshman and earned First Team All-SEC honors, along with recognition on the NFCA Freshman of the Year Top 25 list. Her standout season also included SEC Freshman of the Week honors and a NFCA Midwest All-Region Second Team selection. Off the field, she continues to excel academically, earning a spot on the Spring 2025 SEC Academic Honor Roll, while being ranked among the top players nationally by both D1Softball and Softball America.
